Sublimation requires 100% polyester. The standard grade is 200 gsm 100% polyester piqué (Gildan 48800) — the smooth piqué takes dye cleanly. The premium tier is 220 gsm polyester-spandex blend for athletic-fit premium tiers. 100% cotton piqué does not take sublimation — the cotton fibre has no affinity for the dye gas. Print placements: edge-to-edge full-front, edge-to-edge full-back, chest-left (100×100 mm). Sublimation is the only decoration that allows true edge-to-edge print.

The piqué texture shows through slightly under the print, which is intentional. Wash durability: 50+ machine-wash cycles at 30°C.
