Branded wine glasses for New Year (Cyprus)
Custom wine glasses for Cyprus New Year gifts — runs from 30 units, 10–14 business day Limassol turnaround, crystal and stemless options.
Why wine glasses suit Cyprus New Year
A 200-person Limassol shipping house marking the New Year with a take-home glass for the family toast wants a present that lands on the dining table on December 31 — a 350 ml pair of lead-free crystal wine glasses in a Limassol-made presentation box at €28 per pair is the right register. The glasses carry the corporate wordmark as a discreet etched mark on the base, visible only when raised for a toast, and they survive a year of weekly use after the holiday. For a smaller Nicosia firm marking the New Year with 50 staff gifts, a 450 ml stemless pair at €18 per pair is the budget register.
Models and materials that fit
The default New Year wine glass is the 350 ml pair of lead-free crystal wine glasses in a Limassol-made presentation box at €28 per pair on 30-unit runs. The mid-tier is the 450 ml stemless crystal pair at €18 per pair. The premium upgrade is the 600 ml Bordeaux crystal pair in a velvet-lined box at €42 per pair — typically reserved for C-suite and senior staff.
Prints and branding approaches
Etching is the standard for crystal wine glasses — the mark is permanent and survives decades of dishwasher cycles. The corporate wordmark is positioned on the base, visible only when the glass is raised for a toast. For the Bordeaux upgrade we offer full-CMYK wrap print at €6 per pair extra. We avoid date-specific marks like "December 2026" because the glasses should remain useful for years.
Bundling and packaging
Each pair ships in a Limassol-made presentation box with a printed belly band carrying the corporate wordmark and a "Happy New Year from [Company]" line. For New Year deliveries to multiple home addresses across Cyprus and the EU we ship via DHL Limassol at cost plus handling with a customs-friendly invoice marked as a gift at €5 nominal value.
Runs, lead times, and budgets
New Year wine glass runs land between 30 and 200 pairs per cycle. Standard production is 10–14 business days; for a January New Year, order by mid-November. Ballpark — €18–€42 per pair depending on the SKU.
Cyprus context
Cyprus's December–February rainy season (averaging 60–100 mm per month) makes the New Year holiday a cosy indoor celebration, and a wine glass is the right take-home gift. Cypriot companies typically mark New Year with a single gifting cycle in mid-to-late December, before the Orthodox Christmas window opens. The Limassol crystal-engraving line books out 4 weeks ahead of December — late orders may have to swap to stock colour panels.
Frequently asked questions
What's the standard wine glass size for a Cyprus New Year gift?
For a Cyprus New Year gift the 350 ml pair of crystal wine glasses at €28 per pair is the right register — fits a standard white-wine pour and pairs well with the family New Year toast. The 450 ml stemless pair is the budget register at €18 per pair.
Can the glasses carry the corporate wordmark?
Yes — the corporate wordmark is etched on the base of each glass at no extra cost. The mark is positioned to be visible only when the glass is raised for a toast. For the Bordeaux upgrade we offer full-CMYK wrap print at €6 per pair extra.
Can we ship individual pairs to recipients across the EU and Gulf?
Yes — we ship individual pairs via DHL Limassol at cost plus handling (€18–€36 per parcel). Each parcel includes a customs-friendly invoice marked as a gift at €5 nominal value. The presentation box fits a standard DHL envelope.
What's the smallest New Year wine glass run you take on?
30 pairs per cycle. Below that we offer a stock pair with a custom belly band at €16 per pair on 15-pair runs. The pre-built route is faster (5 business days) and works well for very small teams (under 30 people).
Can the glasses be paired with a wine bottle for a New Year gift set?
Yes — we bundle the 350 ml crystal pair with a 200 ml bottle of Commandaria, the Cypriot dessert wine, at €36 per set on 30-set runs. The bundled version is the most common Cyprus New Year client gift in the matrix.
Are the glasses dishwasher-safe?
Yes — all our crystal wine glasses are dishwasher-safe at 65°C on a delicate cycle. The etched mark survives 500+ dishwasher cycles without visible degradation. We recommend avoiding the extreme-heat programme to maximise the mark's lifespan.
