Apron sets and apron bundles for corporate teams

Coordinated bib-and-half-apron pairs, master-apprentice kits, and multi-role hospitality sets for İstanbul F&B and workshop programmes. MOQ from 30 sets, KDV 20% on e-Fatura.

Why a set, not a single apron

Türkiye's FOH/BOH split makes a single apron SKU awkward in practice. İstanbul restaurants running a Michelin-list kitchen and a casual bistrot section need two distinct pieces: a heavyweight bib for the line cook and a soft ring-spun half-apron for the floor. We bundle the two under one corporate logo so the brand reads consistently across the dining room and the pass. Workshop programmes — leather schools in Zeytinburnu, ceramic studios in Karaköy, jewellery ateliers in Nişantaşı — need a master-apprentice kit: a heavy selvedge apron for the master, a lighter twill apron for the apprentice, both with the studio mark and the apprentice's name embroidered on the chest.

Two set formats we run most often

The first is the FOH/BOH hospitality pair: 350 gsm heavyweight cotton drill bib (cross-back strap, brass D-rings, 80 cm length) paired with a 220 gsm ring-spun half-apron (self-tie waist, side pockets, 50 cm length). Both pieces carry the same corporate mark — silkscreen chest-left on the bib, embroidered chest panel on the half-apron — so the brand reads consistently. The second is the master-apprentice workshop kit: a 12 oz selvedge denim apron with leather cross-back and a 240 gsm cotton canvas half-apron, both with the studio logo, the apprentice's initials on the half-apron's chest pocket, and a kraft-paper wrap with a printed care card. Both sets can ship in individual kraft boxes for premium programmes.

Branding the set as a unit

The mark should sit at the same height on both pieces so the eye reads the set as one. Chest-left silkscreen on the bib and chest-centre embroidery on the half-apron is the most common pairing. For a leather-strap master apron we engrave the studio mark on the leather patch itself, so the strap carries the brand when the apron is worn cross-back. We avoid sublimation on aprons — the print breaks down under friction from the work surface within weeks. Plastisol-free silkscreen inks, OEKO-TEX-compliant thread for embroidery, and laser engraving on leather are the three finishing moves we use across the set.

Runs and budget

MOQ is 30 sets for the FOH/BOH pair (60 individual pieces), 20 sets for the master-apprentice kit. Lead time is 14–20 working days for the hospitality pair, 18–25 working days for the selvedge denim kit. Pricing ranges from TRY 480/set at 50 sets (FOH/BOH hospitality pair) to TRY 2,950/set at 20 sets (master-apprentice kit with leather strap). Strike-off for the embroidery and print is TRY 480/set, credited at 200+ sets. All prices are ex-KDV, e-Fatura issued with 20% line.

Türkiye context

İstanbul's hospitality scene is the main pull — Karaköy and Beyoğlu restaurant openings drive most of the FOH/BOH pair orders, with hotel rebrands (Bosphorus-front properties, Bomonti, Beşiktaş) running 200–500 set programmes at a time. The maker/workshop market is smaller but recurring: leather schools in Zeytinburnu, ceramic studios in Karaköy, and the third-wave coffee chain programmes at Barista Academy graduates. For EU buyers (Italian restaurants, German hospitality groups), we ship DDP with EUR.1 certificates of origin from the İstanbul customs zone.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make the FOH and BOH aprons in matching colours?

Yes — both pieces are Pantone-matched from the same colour book. Common pairings: charcoal bib with cream half-apron, espresso with stone, navy with oat. We hold stock colourways for 50+ set runs and dye-lot match for larger orders.

What is the smallest master-apprentice kit run you accept?

20 sets (40 individual pieces). Below that we move to a lighter-weight apprentice apron and a non-leather strap on the master apron, which keeps the unit cost under TRY 2,200/set at 15 sets.

Can each piece carry a different role mark (chef, sous-chef, FOH)?

Yes — we run separate embroidery files per role and consolidate under one order. Add TRY 35/piece for the second role mark, TRY 55/piece for the third and beyond. This is common for restaurants with 4–6 distinct front-of-house roles.

Do you offer sample sets before bulk production?

Yes — one full set in three colourways, made in the actual production fabric, for TRY 1,800. Sample cost is credited against orders of 100+ sets. Sample lead time is 8–10 working days.

Can the aprons carry OEKO-TEX certification?

The standard cotton twill and denim aprons are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified on request, included with orders of 100+ sets. For F&B clients supplying EU hotel chains this is typically a contractual requirement.

What about invoicing for export orders?

EU export: tax-free invoice with EUR.1 certificate of origin, DDP shipping via İstanbul customs zone. Domestic: e-Fatura with KDV 20% on the invoice line. Strike-off sample cost is credited against orders of 200+ sets.
