Branded backpacks for Türkiye's corporate and event programmes
600D polyester, 900D ballistic nylon and recycled-PET backpacks for İstanbul's Levent offices, university campus kits and tech-tour swag. MOQ from 50 units, KDV 20% e-Fatura.
Why a backpack, not a tote or duffel
A backpack earns its slot when the recipient carries more than a notebook — a laptop, a charger, a change of clothes. İstanbul's white-collar commute (Levent–Maslak corridor, Ataşehir, Kozyatağı) puts 6–8 kg in the bag three to five days a week, and a 600D polyester shell with a padded 15.6″ laptop sleeve, a YKK zip and reinforced shoulder straps handles that load without straining. University programmes at İTÜ, Boğaziçi and Bilkent use backpacks for orientation kits because the bag carries the brand on campus for three to four years — longer than any tote. Tech-tour and conference swag at Tüyap and CNR Expo also lands on a backpack: the bag shows up at every future event the recipient attends.
Three SKUs that cover the audience
The first is a 600D polyester shell, 22 L capacity, 15.6″ padded laptop sleeve, YKK zip, USB charge port, in five colourways — the standard corporate backpack at Levent's tech campuses. The second is a 900D ballistic nylon shell with a Cordura base, 28 L capacity, taped seams, internal organiser and trolley sleeve — for executive programmes and longer-haul travel. The third is a 100% recycled PET (rPET 900D) backpack, GRS-certified, 24 L, with the same internal layout as the standard SKU — the sustainability-led programme for clients who report against ESG metrics. All three carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification on request.
Where to put the mark
Three locations work on a backpack. Chest panel embroidery (60×30 mm) on the front pocket is the default — close to the eye when worn, raised off the surface so it reads on dark and light grounds. Silkscreen on the top flap (180×80 mm) reads at distance but is hidden when the flap tucks under. Woven label on the side seam (40×15 mm) is the discreet move for premium programmes. We avoid heat-transfer on backpacks — the surface flexes too much under load and the print cracks within 6 months. Embroidery thread is polyester, OEKO-TEX-compliant; we do not run rayon.
Runs, lead times and pricing
MOQ starts at 50 units for the 600D polyester standard, 100 units for the ballistic nylon upgrade, 100 units for the rPET GRS-certified programme. Lead time is 18–25 working days at 50–250 units, 25–35 working days at 250+ units. Pricing ranges from TRY 380/unit at 100 units (600D polyester, chest embroidery) to TRY 1,250/unit at 100 units (ballistic nylon, full-colour chest embroidery, internal organiser). Strike-off sample TRY 480, credited at 300+ units. All prices ex-KDV, e-Fatura issued.
Türkiye context
Production anchors sit in the Sultana bag industry cluster, with cut-and-sew capacity at İstanbul's İkitelli OSB and final assembly at our partner facility in Tekirdağ (for 300+ unit runs). The biggest demand pulls are İstanbul's Levent–Maslak tech campuses (corporate welcome kits, new-hire packs), the university orientation market (İTÜ, Boğaziçi, Bilkent, Sabancı, Koç), and conference swag at CNR Expo and Tüyap Fuar Merkezi. For EU export, we ship DDP from the İstanbul customs zone with EUR.1 certificates of origin.
Frequently asked questions
Which fabric holds up to daily İstanbul commuting?
600D polyester is the floor for a daily commuter; 900D ballistic nylon with a Cordura base is the upgrade for heavier loads and longer wear. For ESG-reporting clients the GRS-certified rPET 900D carries the same durability with verified recycled material content.
Can the backpack include a padded laptop sleeve?
Yes — all three SKUs ship with a 15.6″ padded laptop sleeve as standard. The sleeve is in the same fabric as the shell, padded with 6 mm closed-cell foam, and accessible from the top zip without opening the main compartment.
What is the smallest run you accept?
50 units for the 600D polyester standard, 100 for ballistic nylon, 100 for the rPET GRS-certified programme. Smaller series are possible at a higher unit price but the fabric MOQs at the supplier end are firm.
Can we brand the bag with a woven label instead of embroidery?
Yes — woven damask labels (40×15 mm) on the side seam, top handle or interior. Common for premium programmes where the mark sits discreetly. Lead time adds 5 working days for the woven label production.
Do you offer the rPET option with GRS certification?
Yes — the rPET 900D shell carries a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificate on request, included with orders of 100+ units. The certificate covers the recycled content and the chain-of-custody from the recycling facility.
How do you invoice and what about export?
Domestic: e-Fatura with KDV 20%. EU export: tax-free invoice with EUR.1 certificate, DDP shipping via İstanbul customs zone. Strike-off sample cost credited at 300+ units.
