Badges and enamel pins for Türkiye's corporate and event programmes

Pin badges, hard-enamel pins and magnetic name badges for trade shows at Tüyap and CNR Expo, employee service anniversaries, and university welcome kits. MOQ from 100 units, KDV 20% e-Fatura.

Three badges, three audiences

Pin badges anchor three corporate use-cases in Türkiye. Trade-show giveaways at Tüyap Fuar Merkezi and CNR Expo run 500–5,000 units at a time — a 25 mm soft-enamel pin on a brass base with a rubber clutch back, Pantone-matched to the brand book, individually polybagged. Employee service-award badges (5, 10, 15, 20-year milestones) move 50–300 units per run — a 30 mm hard-enamel pin with a die-struck brass back and a butterfly clutch, packaged in a kraft envelope with a printed card. The third audience is university welcome kits at İTÜ, Boğaziçi and Bilkent — 100–500 unit runs of a 22 mm die-struck pin with a corporate logo on one side and the cohort year on the other.

How the badge is built

All badges start from a mould — either die-struck brass or die-cast zinc alloy. Die-struck brass is the premium move: harder, denser, the raised relief is sharper. Die-cast zinc is the value option for 1,000+ unit runs; the relief is softer and the surface needs a thicker plating. The enamel fill is either soft enamel (recessed, slightly rough to the touch) or hard enamel (polished flat, smooth, the premium finish for service awards and limited editions). Plating options: gold, silver, antique brass, antique silver, black nickel. Each badge ships with a rubber clutch back as standard; deluxe clutches, magnetic backs, and safety pin closures are available.

What you can put on the badge

Up to 7 enamel colours at no extra cost, more colours in steps of +TRY 0.8/unit. Gradient and photo-realistic artwork is achievable through offset printing under a clear epoxy dome, which adds TRY 2.2/unit but lets you run a full-bleed photographic badge. Die-struck text holds up best on the back-stamp — a year, a name, a serial number — at +TRY 0.6/unit per character. Glow-in-the-dark enamel, glitter enamel, and translucent enamel are available for limited-edition runs; lead time adds 7 working days.

Runs and pricing

MOQ is 100 units. Lead time is 14–18 working days at 100–500 units, 18–25 working days at 500–2,000 units, 25–35 working days at 5,000+ units. Pricing ranges from TRY 14/unit at 500 units (25 mm soft-enamel pin, brass base, rubber clutch) to TRY 65/unit at 100 units (30 mm hard-enamel pin, die-struck brass, deluxe clutch, individual kraft envelope). Strike-off mould fee TRY 950, credited at 500+ units. All prices ex-KDV, e-Fatura with 20% line.

Türkiye context

The badge industry cluster sits in İstanbul's Çemberlitaş and Eminönü districts — long-standing family workshops that handle 80% of the country's pin-badge supply. The biggest pull is the trade-show market: Tüyap Fuar Merkezi hosts 60+ major exhibitions a year (food, textile, construction, machinery), and CNR Expo runs a similar calendar across its Atatürk Havalimanı and Yeşilköy halls. Employee service-award programmes at large İstanbul corporates (Sabancı, Koç, Garanti BBVA, İş Bankası) order 200–500 units per quarter for 5/10/15-year cohorts.

Frequently asked questions

Soft enamel or hard enamel — which do we pick?

Soft enamel has a recessed, slightly textured finish and is the value option for trade-show giveaways and bulk programmes. Hard enamel is polished flat and smooth — the premium finish for service awards, executive gifts and limited runs. Both carry the same mould cost; hard enamel is +TRY 4–6/unit.

What is the smallest badge run you accept?

100 units. Below 100 we move to a printed sticker badge or a stamped paper name badge with a pin back. The mould cost is the floor, so very small runs are not cost-effective in pin form.

Can we run a different design on the back?

Yes — die-struck back-stamp (year, name, serial, motto) at +TRY 0.6/unit per character. Common for service awards where each badge carries the recipient's name and tenure year. The back-stamp can also carry a small logo.

Do you offer magnetic name badges for trade shows?

Yes — 70×35 mm acrylic name badge with a magnetic back (no pin holes in clothing) or a comb clip. Available with full-colour UV print or laser-engraved plate. Common at CNR Expo and Tüyap for staff identification.

What plating options are available?

Gold, silver, antique brass, antique silver, black nickel, and rose gold. All plating is nickel-free on request. For medical or food-industry clients we hold a separate nickel-free line.

How do you invoice and what about export?

Domestic: e-Fatura with KDV 20%. EU export: tax-free invoice with EUR.1 certificate of origin, DDP via İstanbul customs. Strike-off mould fee credited at 500+ units.
