Sticker printing for corporate merch in Türkiye

Sticker printing covers die-cut and kiss-cut printed labels and stickers used across corporate merch programs — product labels, packaging seals, asset tags, event giveaways and branded decals. This page covers the substrate range, the cut types, the materials and where sticker labels earn their place on a corporate brief.

What sticker printing covers and where it earns its place

Sticker printing covers the production of printed labels and stickers in cut-to-shape or cut-on-sheet formats, applied to products, packaging, equipment or surfaces with pressure-sensitive adhesive. The method is one of the highest-volume corporate merch decoration categories because stickers are cheap, fast, and add a brand mark to almost anything — a coffee cup, a laptop lid, a notebook cover, a packaging band, an asset tag, an event badge.

For corporate merch programs, sticker printing is the right answer for product labels, packaging seals, asset tags, asset labels, event giveaways, branded laptop stickers, water bottle labels, notebook covers, packaging bands and any flat or gently curved surface that can accept a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The per-piece cost is much lower than any printed hard good, which is why sticker programs are the workhorse of branded merch at scale.

In Türkiye, sticker printing capacity sits in our Levent studio with overflow at our Esenler partner facility for large production runs. We stock vinyl, paper and specialty sticker substrates from European and Turkish manufacturers with consistent 7-10 working day replenishment cycles.

Cut types: die-cut versus kiss-cut

Die-cut stickers are cut through the sticker material and the release liner, so each sticker comes out as an individual cut shape. Die-cut is the right answer for stickers that ship as individual pieces or are applied one at a time. Common applications: product labels, laptop stickers, event giveaways, asset tags, packaging seals.

Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the sticker material only, leaving the release liner intact. The result is a sheet of stickers on a backing that can be peeled individually. Kiss-cut is the right answer for sticker sheets that ship as a unit, for application in sequence, or for sale as a multi-sticker pack. Common applications: planner stickers, notebook inserts, multi-pack giveaways.

Die-cut tooling is a custom metal die that costs TRY 200-600 per shape and lasts for 50,000-100,000 impressions. For short runs where the die cost is prohibitive, we use a laser cutter for low-cost short-run die cuts (1-100 pieces) at a slightly higher per-piece cost.

Sticker materials and their properties

Vinyl stickers are the workhorse material. They are weather-resistant, UV-stable for 3-5 years outdoor, and accept full-colour printing cleanly. Vinyl is the right answer for laptop stickers, water bottle labels, packaging seals, asset tags and any application that needs durability.

Paper stickers are the economical material. They are not weather-resistant but accept full-colour printing with a more refined surface than vinyl. Paper is the right answer for product labels that will be applied indoors, packaging seals, gift tags and short-lived event giveaways.

Specialty materials — clear vinyl, metallic vinyl, holographic vinyl, kraft paper, recycled paper, textured paper, domed (resin-coated) — extend the visual range. Clear vinyl reads as "no label" because the substrate shows through; metallic and holographic vinyl add a premium accent; kraft and recycled paper add an environmental signal.

Artwork preparation and printing

Sticker artwork is typically vector with each colour as a separate layer, or high-resolution raster at 300 DPI minimum. We accept AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, PNG and TIFF. For die-cut stickers, the cut path is a separate vector layer that follows the artwork outline; for kiss-cut stickers, the cut path is a rectangle or simple shape that defines the sheet.

Stickers are printed CMYK on digital printers (for short runs and full-colour designs) or CMYK plus white on UV printers (for clear or specialty substrates). Variable-data stickers (each piece carries a unique name, number or code) are produced through a digital-press workflow with variable-data software.

For corporate logos with brand-precise Pantone matching, we calibrate the press to a Delta-E of 1-2 against the supplied reference. The achievable Delta-E depends on the substrate; clear vinyl and kraft paper have slightly wider achievable gamut than coated paper and white vinyl.

Run sizes, lead times and unit economics

Sticker printing is most economical on runs of 100-50,000 pieces per design. Below 100 pieces we usually run digital press with kiss-cut for cost reasons. Above 50,000 pieces we run the fully automated roll-fed line at our Esenler partner facility and the per-piece price drops meaningfully.

Lead time is 3-7 working days for a typical corporate program: 1-3 days for die production (if new shape), 1-2 days for printing, 1-2 days for cutting and finishing. Repeat orders with held dies drop to 2-5 working days.

For corporate buyers pricing out a program, the practical question is the importance of durability and the substrate. Vinyl stickers cost 30-60% more than paper but survive outdoor use and washing. Paper stickers are the right answer for indoor labels and short-lived giveaways.

Adhesive systems and finishing

Standard pressure-sensitive adhesive is the default for most sticker applications. The adhesive is permanent (high-tack) by default; removable (low-tack) adhesive is available for applications where the sticker will be removed without residue. We select the adhesive based on the substrate the sticker will be applied to and the service life required.

Laminated stickers add a protective overlaminate film that extends service life and improves scratch resistance. Gloss laminate is the default for vibrant colours; matte laminate reads as more refined for premium programs. Specialty Laminated underlay with holographic or metallic effects is available for premium event giveaways.

Variable-data stickers (each piece carries a unique name, number or code) are produced through a digital-press workflow. Common applications: numbered event badges, named loyalty cards, unique QR-coded product labels, asset tags with serial numbers. The variable-data workflow adds 1-2 working days to the lead time and is priced as a per-piece add-on.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for sticker printing?

Sticker printing is most economical on runs of 100-50,000 pieces per design. Below 100 pieces we usually run digital press with kiss-cut for cost reasons.

How long does a sticker printing order take?

A typical corporate program takes 3-7 working days: 1-3 days for die production (if new shape), 1-2 days for printing. Repeat orders with held dies drop to 2-5 working days.

What materials are available for stickers?

Vinyl (white, clear, metallic, holographic), paper (coated, uncoated, kraft, recycled), specialty (textured, domed resin-coated, foil-stamped). Vinyl is the workhorse material for outdoor durability; paper is the economical choice for indoor labels.

Can stickers match a corporate Pantone colour?

We calibrate the press to a Delta-E of 1-2 against the supplied Pantone reference on standard substrates. Clear vinyl and kraft paper have slightly wider achievable gamut than coated paper and white vinyl.

Are stickers dishwasher-safe?

Vinyl stickers with overlaminate survive dishwasher cycles for the life of the label. Paper stickers are not dishwasher-safe. For drinkware that goes through commercial dishwashers, ceramic-fired decals or laser engraving are more durable.

Is Corp-Merch a licensed sticker printer or officially accredited by any substrate manufacturer?

We are an independent corporate merch decoration provider in Türkiye. We are not licensed, endorsed or accredited by any vinyl manufacturer, paper supplier or printing-equipment maker. Brand and product names are used to describe compatible substrates and decoration methods.
